DWI, other charges

Donna Colandro, 26, of Roselle Park was charged with disorderly conduct and driving while intoxicated after her car was stopped early Friday, Feb. 10 in Byram, police said.

About 2:30 a.m., a township police officer saw a vehicle on Route 206 that was not staying in its lane and keeping right.

After stopping the vehicle, the officer believed that the driver, Colandro, may be intoxicated. She was asked to perform several field-sobriety tests, which she failed, police said.

She was arrested, and once she was in the patrol vehicle, she began to kick the inside of the door and window.

She was taken to the police station, where she refused to submit to breath tests.

Colandro also was charged with careless driving, reckless driving, refusal to submit to breath tests, failure to maintain lane, failure to keep right, uninsured and unclear registration plates.

She was given a date to appear in Andover-Joint Municipal Court.
