The northbound off-ramp of Route 15 that leads onto Route 517 in Sparta was closed Wednesday morning, April 30 because of an accident.
About 8:20 a.m., Sparta police responded to a report of a crash involving an overturned dump truck on the ramp.
They found the driver trapped inside the truck.
Members of the Fire Department extricated the driver, who was airlifted by Atlantic Medivac to Morristown Medical Center for treatment.
Police said an investigation of the crash is under way.
