Self-defense classes for women, girls offered

The Sussex County Library System again will host the “Self-Defense for Women and Girls” program at the Main Library, 125 Morris Turnpike, Newton.

The free program, led by Iron Temple Training Center, provides practical skills and knowledge to enhance personal safety while building confidence. Participants will learn self-defense techniques in a supportive and empowering environment.

The program consists of two one-hour classes at 1 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 2 and 9.

Classes are open to women and girls at all fitness levels age 13 and older.

Participants are welcome to attend both classes but must register for each separately.

Those younger than 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
