Vernon couple announces their engagement

Together with their parents, Lauren Kwitchoff and Matthew McKowen, both of Vernon, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Donna and Brian Smith of Vernon. She is a 2008 graduate of Vernon Township High School and a 2012 graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey and is employed as an assistant account executive at a social media agency in Morristown.

The groom-to-be is the son of Jean Marie and Dan Day of Vernon and Paula and Ronald McKowen of Ringwood. He is a 2007 graduate of Vernon Township High School and a 2011 graduate of East Stroudsburg University and is employed as an athletic trainer at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken.

A June 2015 wedding is planned at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church in Vernon.
