Centenary College professor of History, Dr. Raymond Frey, recently attended the “345th Birthday Salute to New Jersey” at the New Jersey State Museum in Trenton. He was invited by New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine, Secretary of State Nina Mitchell Wells and Commissioner of Education Lucille Davy because he was a 2008 recipient of a Recognition Award from the New Jersey Historical Commission. The event was designed to recognize students, teachers and others who have contributed to the study of history in New Jersey.
