Two area residents graduated from the Dover Business College Licensed Practical Nurse Program and received their LPN pins at a recent pinning ceremony. They are Jamie Miller of Vernon and Katherine Vaughn of Lafayette. Mary Koning, daughter of Tom and Grace Koning of Glenwood, graduated from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania with a bachelor of science degree from the College of Education. She majored in secondary education with an English emphasis. She was also named to the dean’s list for the semester. Nicole Piela of Vernon has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2009 semester at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Stephanie Biggiani of Vernon Township graduated from Villanova University, with a bachelor of science in business administration, with a concentration in finance and accounting. Eric Bennet, son of Donald R. and Irene M. Slate of Wantage, recently graduated with an associate’s degree in Diesel Technology from Wyoming Technical Institute in Blairsville, Pa. He is a 2008 graduate of High Point Regional High School.
