Kristin Oyen of Vernon has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at Felician College. She is a 2006 graduate of Vernon Township High School. Steven DeCoite of Vernon was named on the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester for Rutgers University. DeCoite was also awarded the Jack Kurlander memorial scholarship for the Crystal Springs Resort. He is graduate of Vernon Township High School. Six area students were recently named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at Drew University in Madison. They are: Stanhope resident Kristen Hugg; and Newton residents Gina Gohl, Kyle Reinhardt, Andrea Santora, Brady Eskilson and Nicole DiBattista. Matthew J. Cafaro of Green Township was named to the Rowan University College of Engineering dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester, where he is a junior majoring in mechanical engineering. Cafaro is a 2006 graduate of Newton High School. Jason Fuchs of Newton was one of five Saint Michael’s College psychology students presenting research at the recent Eastern Psychological Association meeting in Pittsburgh. The students presented grant-funded research they conducted in the Krikstone Laboratory for the Behavioral Sciences at Saint Michael’s in Colchester, Vt., over the course of last summer and last semester. Fuchs is a graduate of Kittatinny Regional High School. The title of his work and names of his co-researchers reads this way: Adamo, C, Fuchs, J., and Kirshenbaum, A.P. (2009). “Manipulations of motivation engender differential DRL-schedule performance.” Five Sparta residents have recently been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at Boston University. They are: Amy L. Bettano, Margaret A.Carbery, Nicolas C. Dahlberg, Alison R. Greco and Elizabeth A. Joseph. Anthony Cramer of Sparta was named to the dean’s list for the spring and fall 2008 semesters at Sussex County Community College. He will continue his education at Rutgers University this fall. Byram resident Amie Flatt was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at Monmouth University in West Long Branch. She is a 2005 graduate of Pope John XXIII High School and is currently a seniormajoring in elementary education with a minor in anthropology. Sparta resident Arielle Lusardi has been named to the dean’s list for the spring fall 2008 semester at the University of Deleware. Lusardi has a double major in biology and political science/French and spent the fall semester studying in Paris. hree Sparta residents have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at Drew University in Madison. They are Carly Mora, Nirup Sundaresan and Ari Young. Kristen Lewandowski of Sparta has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at the University of Delaware for the Fall 2008 semester. She is a fitness management major.
