Steven DeCoite of Vernon was named on the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester for Rutgers University. DeCoite was also awarded the Jack Kurlander memorial scholarship for Crystal Springs Resort. He is a graduate of Vernon Township High School. Kathleen Villano of Glenwood was named to the dean’s list for the spring and fall 2008 semesters at University of Delaware Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics. She is a 2005 graduate of Vernon Township High School and marketing major. Shaina Catanzarite of Stockholm was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 at Simmons College in Boston. She is a freshman. Michael Deutch of Sussex was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa. Elaine Kubik of Vernon has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y. Four area students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at Caldwell College in Caldwell. They are: Kevin Gleason and Ryan Gleason of Franklin, Laura Grimm of Stockholm and Jamely White of Hamburg, Joseph H. Tofanelli of Sussex and Allyson A. Viventi of Wantage were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at SUNY Orange/Orange Community College in Middletown, N.Y.
