    Sara Morrison, a 2007 Sparta High School graduate, was named to the dean’s list this past semester at Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. Andover resident Sam Buchbauer, an anthropology and geography major at Syracuse University, is a member of the Hendricks Chapel Choir at the university. The choice is a select, voice-mixed choir of approximately 40 students that provides music for the Sunday morning interdenominational Protestant service at the university as well as for various campus events. The choir presents annual holiday and spring concerts, and tours internationally every four years. It will tour South America this May. Andover resident Richard V. Natelli, son of Richard and Marjorie Natelli, and a 2006 graduate of Lenape Valley High School in Stanhope, was named to the dean’s list at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa. for the fall semester. Sussex resident Theodore Moran was named to the dean’s list at the College of William and Mary for the fall semester. Sparta High School graduate Kristen Fabian, the daughter of Marla and Stan Fabian, has been inducted into the William Aiken Fellows Society at the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C. The society is an organization for honors students who are considered top scholars at the national and international level. Sparta resident Whitney Diane Buck has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Radford University in Radford, Va. She is a senior marketing major. Andover resident Lindsey Daly, the daughter of Leslie and Dave Daly, has been named to the dean’s list at Monmouth University for her incoming freshman fall semester. She is a graduate of Newton High School. Cheryl Grissom of Hardyston was named to the fall dean’s list at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y., where she is an accounting major. She is a graduate of Wallkill Valley High School. Six area students were named to the fall dean’s list at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa. They are: Chelsea Wagner, a Highland Lakes resident and a sophomore studying elementary education; Wantage resident Kelly Henderson, a senior studying elementary education; Wantage resident Erika Peter, a senior studying elementary education; Highland Lakes resident Kevin Carney, an English major and senior; Sussex resident Mary Katherine Mitchell, a junior studying psychology and religion; and Highland Lakes major Kathleen Brennan, a freshman with an undeclared major. Five area students were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn. They are: Tyler Mefford of Hamburg; Tara Lavecchia of Newton; Alexandra Simeone of Newton; Sarah Mugavero of Stockholm; and Kevin Greulich of Vernon. The following students were named to the fall dean’s List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania: Andover residents Julia Ann La Verda and Katherine E. Simmons; Allison N. Fondy of Augusta; Michael P. McLaughlin of Glenwood; Ashley L. Patete of Hamburg; Kathryn R. Munley of Highland Lakes; Newton residents Christina E. Curtis, Brian J. Drum, Amanda E. Sampey, Andrew P. Weigly and Julie A. Woodring; Sparta residents Jessica M. Mann and Lindsay D. Williams: Stanhope residents Justin M. Cirone, John G. Hebble, III and Brett A. Leister; and Sussex resident Zachary Mayer. Samantha Ross of Glenwood, earned her associate degree in baking and pastry arts from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. She is a 2005 graduate of Vernon Township High School. Vernon resident Erin N. Compton and Andrea Santonastaso of Newton were named to the president’s list for the recent fall semester at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C. To qualify, they earned a 4.0 grade point average. Eight area residents were named to the dean’s list for the recent fall semester at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C. They are: Maria R. German of Wantage; Carolyn M. Hamilton of Sussex; Samantha L. Holmes of Hopatcong; Alyssa M. Sharples of Hackettstown; Sparta residents Arielle P. Fatuova and Joshua G. Pagano; Carl J. Devenio Jr. of Stanhope; and Matthew S. Decker of Washington. Two area students were named to the fall dean’s list at Lebanon Valley College in Annsville, Pa. They are Andrea Kozlowski of Newton, a sophomore studying music education; and Kristen Wollenberg, of Stanhope, a senior studying music education and music. Sparta resident Kristi Mendes was named to the dean’s list at the University of New Haven in Connecticut. Mendes is a dental hygiene major. She is the daughter of Richard and Kathleen Mendes.
