College Notes

Katlynn Martin and Jon Trotta, both of Vernon, have been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester 2008 at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pa. Mary Koning of Glenwood was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at Kutztown (Pa.) University. She is a 2005 graduate of Vernon High School and is currently a senior majoring in secondary education with an English concentration. Coastal Carolina University, in Conway, S.C., has named Erin N. Compton of Vernon to the president’s and dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester. Savannah (Ga.) College of Art and Design has named Nicole Plaza of Wantage, a production design major, to the fall 2008 dean’s list. Kevin N. Davis of Vernon, graduated with an associate’s degree in culinary arts and restaurant management from The Art Institute of New York City, in December, 2008. Kenneth Abbott of Sussex was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester at Messiah College in Grantham, Pa. He is a senior majoring in communication. Abby Tilton of Franklin, a 2008 graduate of Wallkill Valley High School, was named to the dean’s list at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa., for the fall 2008 semester. She also received a varsity letter for her participation in field hockey and was named to the Patriot League academic honor roll.
