Hilltop School receives award

Hilltop Country Day School, in Sparta, has been awarded a 2009 National Gold Council of Excellence Award by the National Association of Student Councils. The award was made in recognition of Hilltop’s exemplary record of leadership, service, and activities that serve to improve the school and community. The advisers for the school’s student council are upper school science teacher Michael Umstead and upper school social studies teacher Robin Kaminsky.
