    Charles J. Rossi, 94, passed away at the Preakness Health Care Center, Wayne, N.J., on Saturday Nov. 1, 2014. He was the son of the late Charles and Rose Rossi. Born in Jersey City, he was a resident of Brick Town before moving in 1986 to the Highland Lakes section of Vernon Township.

    Mr. Rossi was a tool and dye maker for Arvy’s Aeronautical Parts Manufacturer in Jersey City, retiring many years ago.

    Mr. Rossi was predeceased by his wife Rose A. (Nee Zinna) Rossi in 2000.

    He is survived by his children, Barbara Gannucci of Toms River, Charles Rossi of Arizona, and Mary Ann Robestello of Highland Lakes, and his three granddaughters, Michelle Furnari, Monica Castagno, and Lanessa Rossi, and his 6 great grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael, Stephanie, Matthew, Adam, and Michael.

    Relatives and friends were received on Monday, Nov. 3 from 6-9 p.m. at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt 94, Vernon, N.J. The family gathered at the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 9 a.m. for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial services at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Highland Lakes, N.J., committal and interment services at Glenwood Cemetery.
