Diane Malvano

Diane (nee DeGise) Malvano, 66, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Newton Medical Center, N.J. Diane was born on Sept. 20, 1950, in Paterson, N.J., to the late Pellegrino and Nancy (nee Giambattista) De Gise. Diane has been a resident of Vernon since 1978.
Diane was a devoted wife and mother and took great care of her family. She was a dedicated owner and operator of A Cut Above hair salon in Vernon for 30 years.
Diane was predeceased by the love of her life, husband Joseph C. Malvano in 2013.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Rhonda Ramaglino and her husband, Steve, of Wantage, Gina Hagemann of Vernon, Melynda Paul of Vernon, Nicola Becker and her husband, Nick, of Vernon, and her cherished 11 grandchildren and one great grandson. Also survived by her sisters, Christina Titmas of Ramsey, Joann Roca and husband Nick of Wanaque, Elaine Lynn and husband Jack of Hawthorne, sister-in-law Joan Magna of Hawthorne and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a life of celebration service on June 18, 2017 at Sparta Senior Center at Knoll Heights, 40 Trapasso Dr, Sparta, NJ from 3-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, 99 Sparta Ave., Newton, NJ 07860 would be appreciated.
