Edith E. Adam, age 86, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at her residence. Born in Oldenburg, Germany to the late Wilheim and Ella Lindhorst, Mrs. Adam came to the United States in 1960 and lived in Oak Ridge before moving to Sussex County. She had been employed by Generant in Butler for many years before her retirement. Mrs. Adam was a member of the Germania Park Group in Dover and was very active with their singing group. She also enjoyed playing Bingo at various locations.Mrs. Adam is survived by her daughter, Karen Pirl and her husband Chris of Wantage; her sons, Frank Adam and his wife Laura of NY, NY and Thomas Adam of Florida; her brother, Willie Lindhorst of Georgia; her sister, Gunda Pagler of Germany; her four grandchildren, Ashley, Jenny, Heather, and TK “Nicole,” and her three great grandchildren, Riley, Anthony and Skyler.
