Elisabeth Schillaci

Elisabeth Schillaci (nee Tom), 78 years old, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Born to Karl and Anna Tom in Romania, she came to the United States in 1951 settling, in Clifton, N.J, she then lived in Oak Ridge, N.J. before moving to the Barry Lakes section of Vernon Twp., NJ 4 years ago.

Mrs. Schillaci was a factory worker for Alfred Dunner in Parsippany, N.J., for many years before retiring in 1987. She enjoyed the outdoors and was dedicated to her family.

Mrs. Schillaci was predeceased by her son, Emil Schillaci, Jr.(2009) and was the devoted wife for 57 years of Emil Schillaci, Sr. of Barry Lakes, N.J. Devoted mother of Debra Shelly and her husband, John of Highland Lakes, N.J. Loving grandmother of Danielle Shelly of Hardyston Twp., N.J., and Kayla Shelly of Highland Lakes, N.J. Dear sister of Stephen Tom of Hackettstown, N.J., and Hilda Havlik of Lake Wallenpaupack, Pa. Cherished by many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94(1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
