Eva Stella Ferlauto

Eva Stella Ferlauto (nee Williams), 93 years old, died peacefully at home on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017. Born to Leo and Dora Williams in Burlingham, NY, she had lived in Union City, N.J. before moving to the Lake Wanda section of Vernon Twp., NJ in 1972.
Eva worked as a real estate broker for Telridge Realtors in Hamburg, N.J. for many years. She was a devoted foster mother to over 60 children over 18 years, a parishioner and Rosarian of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Highland Lakes, NJ, member and past president of the Lake Wanda Homeowners Association, active in town politics and enjoyed painting, studying under Bob Ross as well as arts and crafts and working with the Lake Wanda Summer Programs for children.
Eva is predeceased by her husband, Angelo Ferlauto(2006), a daughter, Constance D’Amico(1998) and 5 siblings, Leonard, Donald, Marion, Vernon and Francis. Eva is the devoted mother of Virginia Meyer and her husband, Noel of Colonia, N.J., Joyce Ferlauto of Highland Lakes, N.J., James Ferlauto and his wife, Eileen, of Wantage Twp., N.J., and Karen Ferlauto of Highland Lakes, NJ. Cherished by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. Dear sister of Louise, John, Helen, Ed, Ruth and Larry. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
The family received their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94(1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017 at 10 a.m. Funeral mass will be at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Highland Lakes, NJ at 11 a.m. Cremation is private.
