Frances M. Pokrywka

Frances M. (Petrucci) Pokrywka, age 78, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at her residence. Born in Passaic to the late John and Veronica (Ference) Petrucci, Frances was a graduate of Passaic High School, where she played violin in the band. She moved to Saddle Brook after marrying her husband, Matthew and has lived in Sussex County since 1999. Frances was employed as a secretary at Robert Manufacturing in Saddle Brook until her retirement. She made many lifelong friends from her workplace. Her loves included cooking, knitting and her pets. Frances was predeceased by her husband, Matthew in 1978. She is survived by her son, Matthew Pokrywka and his wife Stacey of Wantage; her daughters, Christine Lynch and her husband Mike of Bloomingdale, Lorraine Bekefi and her husband Joe of Wanaque, and Kathy Pokrywka and her partner Dan Lafleur of Riverview, Florida; her twin sister, Mary F. Sleker of North Carolina; her loving grandchildren, Matty, Jesse, Joseph, and Robert; her special “grandchildren,” Matthew, Justin, Nicholas, Dana, Jacqui, Daisy, and Heather; and many nephews, nieces, and friends. Private funeral services for the family have been entrusted to the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex.
