John R. Warren

John R. Warren, of Glenwood, N,J. passed on peacefully on Nov. 28, 2015, at his home in Vernon Township, N.J. John was born Nov. 1, 1918, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He served proudly in the United States Army during WWII. John later graduated from St. John’s Law school and became a member of the New York Bar Association. He worked as a controller for the Hartford Foundation in New York City before retiring and enjoying his life with his wife Constance of 74 years.

John was always a devoted, and kind father to his family, sons; John R. Warren II, his wife Angela, Robert Warren, Peter Warren, and his wife Linda, all of Vernon. John also very much enjoyed and loved his grandchildren; Jill Ward, and her husband, Alex Ward, of Godalming, Surrey England, Johnny Warren III, Lindsey Warren and Ian Warren all of Vernon, N.J.

John Warren was a true gentleman and will very much be missed by his family and friends. John will be cremated and services will be private. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, Vernon, NJ.
