Joseph K. Smith

Joseph K. Smith of Newton, N.J., passed away on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 57.

Joseph was born on Feb. 3, 196,4 to Floyd Smith and Betty Ungvare. He was a lifelong resident in Newton.

Prior to his retirement, he owned and operated Joe’s Heating and Cooling Service. Joseph enjoyed working on his classic cars during his free time and loved going to Disney World with his family.

The beloved husband of Pauline Smith, Joseph is survived by his children, David Smith and his wife, Stephanie Schick, Jennifer Hall and her husband, John, and Todd Smith and his wife, Jessica Sickel; his grandchildren, Daniella, Faith, Devin, Juliann, Zachary, Victoria, Hayden, and Weston; and his siblings, Rhonda Hand, Carol Spear and Cynthia Day.

His father Floyd Smith and his brother Ron Ungvare predeceased Joseph.

All funeral services were held privately.
