    Robert H. Hazen, 76, died Monday Dec. 23, 2013 at Newton Medical Center. Mr. Hazen, son of the late Wilbur and Florence (App) Hazen, was born in Medford, MA Sept. 3, 1937. Mr. Hazen grew up in Somerville, MA, and had resided in Vernon for 27 years before moving to Wantage in 1999.

    Mr. Hazen was a machinist for Tesa Tape in Middletown, NY, retiring in 1995 and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

    Mr. Hazen joins his three sisters and brother, Elizabeth Dillon, Barbara Bowes, William Hazen and Margaret Hazen, as well as a niece, Diana Spano, in heaven. He is survived by his wife Marie (Reel) Hazen; daughters, Colleen Hazen of Wantage, Adrianne Hazen of Hewitt, Deirdre Hazen of Blairstown and Meghan Hazen of Wantage; granddaughter, Ashley Hazen of Hamburg; sister Florence Picard of Hudson, MA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

    A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date at St. Clement’s RC Church in Medford, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project P.O.
