Rose A. Decker

Rose A. Decker, 66 years old, of Sussex, N.J., ascended into heaven surrounded by her loving family at Newton Medical Center on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, following a short illness. She was born in Hardyston Twp., N.J., to the late Albert Decker, Sr. and Freda Decker.

Rose was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sussex and was employed at Econo-Pak in Sussex for 25 years before retiring in 2014.

Rose was predeceased by a sister, Donna Jane Decker (1955) and a sister-in-law, Donna Schneider-Decker (1995) and is survived by 2 brothers, Harold Decker of Sussex, N.J., and Albert Decker, Jr., and his wife, Mary, of Sussex, N.J. Also survived by 6 sisters, Muriel Moore of Cortland, N.Y., a twin sister, Rosalie Decker of Sussex, N.J., Patricia Decker and her lifelong companion, Harry Boyd, of Sussex, N.J., Darlene Turtur and her husband, Walter, of Sussex, N.J., Tammy Hall and her husband, LeeRoy, of Sussex, N.J., and Wendy Babcock and her lifelong companion, Robert Guest, of Sussex, N.J. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson Funeral Home 27 Third Street, Sussex, N.J. on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
