Vernon May Norman

Verna May Norman, age 83, peacefully passed away on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018 at her son’s residence surrounded by her family.
Born in Lackawanna, PA, Mrs. Norman grew up in that area before moving to Sussex County. She had been employed by Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Center and retired from the Visiting Nurse Association of Sparta. After her retirement, Mrs. Norman continued to help patients and worked part-time for families caring fo their loved ones. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Raymond F. Norman in 2006 and her son, Victor Norman in 1987.
She is survived by her three sons, Wesley Norman, Stanley Norman and his wife Robin of Wantage, and Allen Norman and his wife Pam of Wantage; and her six grandchildren, Victor Fletcher, Robert Norman, Raymond Norman and his fiancé Amanda, Randy Norman and his girlfriend Candace, Jessica Babich and her husband Michael, and Crystal Norman. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, at Vaughan Cemetery in Sparta. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex.
