Pope John students receive honors

    SUSSEX — Pope John XXIII High School recently inducted 36 students into the National Honor Society and 51 students into six world language honor societies. Students inducted into the National Honor Society were: Emily Allen, Jonathan Black, Ivanna Bond, Jessica Card, Sarah Cariati, John Christiano, Samantha Cifelli, Margaret Cooney, Brian Falduto, Maria Geba, Michael Gerardi, Greg Hargrave, Sean Higginson, Jonathan Hilgart, Tim Jacisin, Danielle Janella, Ryan Kelly, Kathryn Lederer, Marcella Leggio, Stephanie Luff, Sean McNamara, Evelyn Meisenbacher, Megan Murdock, Selena Noel, Flara Ozbek, Christopher Patterson, Angela Poccia, David Reeth, Amy Rowland, Erin Roy, Jennifer Schmeyer, Forrest Seaman, Nicole Tormey, Max Villa, Caitlin Whelan and Dillon White. Max Siembieda was inducted into the French Honor Society. Students inducted into the German Honor Society were Brayden Abbey, Maria Corall, John Dignazio, David Hanley, Natalia Ignaczak, Forrest Seaman, Caitlin Whelan and Elise Zimmerman. Students inducted into the Italian Honor Society were Anna Alboretti, Victoria Lukacs and Angela Poccia. Students inducted into the Japanese Honor Society were Brandon Adams, Alex Bortfield, Olivia Cass, Robert Castiglia, Megan Dreisbach, Kristen Ferriero, Karly Fisher, Jason Frandi, Michael Lennon, Bryan Noble, Melissa Romero, Molly Smith and Rebecca Townsend. Students inducted into the Latin Honor Society were Julianne Basile, Jessica Card, Timothy Jacisin, Ioni Kokodis, Evelyn Meisenbacher and Selena Noel.
