Ross earns honorable mention in art show

Highland Lakes - Watercolor artist and Highland Lakes resident Joan M. Ross received an honorable mention award for her painting “Evening Lakeland Light,” which depicts a Highland Lakes scene in winter. The painting is part of the North East Watercolor Society members show at Orange County Community College in Middletown, NY, which runs through March 27. Ross exhibits her work at the “ARTery” Gallery in Milford, Pa. The gallery is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. She is listed in “Who’s Who in American Art” and is a member of many art organizations.
