Students make Scranton dean's list
SCRANTON, Pa. The University of Scranton has announced its dean’s list, which recognizes students for academic excellence during the fall semester. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours to make the dean’s list. The list includes students from the College of Arts and Sciences, the Kania School of Management, the Panuska College of Professional Studies and the College of Graduate and Continuing Education. More than 1,300 students were named to the Jesuit university’s dean’s list, including the following area residents: Daniel R. D’Elena of West Milford, who is a senior studying mathematics Alyssa T. Hoekstra of Hewitt, who is a junior studying counseling and human services Erin M. McCall of Newfoundland, who is a junior studying elementary education/special education Danielle T. Sisto of Hewitt, who is a senior studying elementary education/special education The University of Scranton is a Jesuit university located in northeastern Pennsylvania.
