23rd Annual Oktoberfest

Vernon - For the past 23 years Crystal Springs Resort has held their Annual Oktoberfest Celebration on the 3rd Sunday in September from 12-6pm; but this year it will be held on Saturday, September 19 from noon until 9:00pm at Minerals Hotel & Spa at Crystal Springs on Route 94 in Vernon. The Oktoberfest is open to the public and admission is free. In addition to authentic German beers, the Oktoberfest at Crystal Springs features a genuine Oktoberfest menu including roasted pig and lamb, knockwurst, weiswurst, potato pancakes, Black Forest cake and strudel. Activities include carnival games, pony rides and a magic show. Also scheduled are a lumberjack contest, a pie-eating contest, sumo wrestling, the moonwalk, the high striker, a super slide and more!
