On a recent Saturday, Friends of Lake Neepaulin conducted its annual fall litter clean-up on streets in Lake Neepaulin and along Neepaulakating Creek. Twelve adults and four youngsters gathered 680 pounds of litter and carted it to Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority in Lafayette in two pickup trucks. The clean-up is sponsored by the Clean Communities Program in Wantage under the direction of Ken Karnas.
