A tribute to veterans

Farmside Landscape and Design of Wantage recently participated in a nationwide day of service campaign on Earth Day by creating a tribute to U.S. veterans at the Woodbourne Veterans Memorial Park in Wantage. The park, conceived by an Iraq war veteran, features monuments to every conflict lasting one year or more, from the Revolutionary War through the Iraqi War. For its part, the Farmside volunteer crew built and installed seat walls, patios and plantings around the monuments to honor veterans.
