Aliens at school

Brandon LaRue, Connor Milks, Hope Young, Amy Schetting and Victoria Van Houten interpret aliens and their spacecraft. They along with other students at the Clifton E. Lawrence School participated in One Book, One Community activities during the month of April. The program gets students at High Point Regional High School and all of its sending districts to read the same book — this year it was “Aliens are Coming” by Meghan McCarthy. This book tells the story of The War of the Worlds radio broadcast from 1938. The Lawrence School library was filled with alien spaceships, UFO’s and drawings of aliens. Children also made alien finger puppets in art.
