Autumn artwork

Ten students from Walnut Ridge Primary School in Vernon have autumn-themed artwork on display at the Board of Education Office throughout the month of November. Their work includes pastel still life drawings, crayon leaf rubbings, sponge painted leaf images, fall tree collages and pencil sketches of pumpkins, cornucopias and other fall items. The kindergarten and first grade students completed the pieces in art class under the direction of art teacher Denise Docherty. Featured artists are Robert Baumann IV, Emma Fernstrom, Brianna Jones, Shane Kilby, Riley Kraft, Sophie LeRoy, Isabella Rivera, Eric Sheehan, Payton Shultz and Riley Wallace.
