Book store party

Newton — An Open Book will host a party on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. Guests will read Fancy Nancy books and others, like “Pinkalicious,” and make crowns and tiaras. They can come dressed up or dress from items in the store. Prizes will be awarded to the fanciest lady and gentleman. The store is at 169 Spring St., Newton. For info: 973-300-5900.
