Business owners pleased with turnout for open house

In stressful economic times, when people turn their focus to spending quality time with their families, it seems our cherished animal companions have become an even more important part of our lives. People are eager to improve their pets’ well-being and to connect with other pet-owners to share their interests. This was evident from the overwhelming turnout at last Saturday’s dog-friendly open house hosted by It’s Your Dog LLC and Paws in Harmony LLC, in celebration of the grand opening of our Hardyston training facility. On what was truly one of the “dog days of summer,” people came out to have fun with their pets and to explore the many new course offerings. The day was packed full of interactive games, contests and demonstrations. Despite the heat, human/dog teams were guided through a rally course, agility obstacles and a “walking labyrinth” with the help of staff members. The festivities concluded with a raffle drawing in which a local family won a free training class for their new puppy. We wish to thank everyone who participated for making the day such a huge success. We were so impressed by the public’s enthusiasm that we are seriously considering hosting annual theme-based events to bring the dog-loving community together on a regular basis.
