Business students help food bank

The Introduction to Business class at Sussex County Community College is trying to get a good grade while helping out the Sussex County Food Bank. Part of their semester grade is determined by the amount of money they can raise. Bucking the trend in financial forecasting, the group plans on raising $1,200. Last year’s class raised $500. Items for sale include baked goods, bracelets bearing the phrase “Giving Christmas Back” and photos with Santa. Fundraising will going on 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Dec. 7 though 10 in the college cafeteria.
