Sussex County chamber honors women leaders

Hamburg. Business, nonprofit, education and community leaders were recognized for their contributions and achievements during the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce’s Inspiring Women Awards Luncheon on June 4 in Hamburg.

The Sussex County Chamber of Commerce honored a diverse group of women leaders, professionals and community advocates during its annual Inspiring Women Awards Luncheon on June 4 at Crystal Springs Resort.

Awards recognized accomplishments in business, education, nonprofit leadership, mentorship, public service and community engagement.

The annual luncheon celebrates women whose leadership, service and professional accomplishments have made a lasting impact on Sussex County and beyond.

Sussex County Chamber of Commerce Inspiring Women Awards
Bright Future Award: Lauren Magura, co-founder of BarnLight Studios and chair of the Sussex County Film Commission.
Championing Change Award: Jean Decker, founder of Peace By Piece NJ, recognized for her advocacy and support for individuals with special needs and their families.
Mentorship Excellence Award: Lee Ellison, executive director of Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, educator, wellness instructor and community mentor.
Special Recognition Award: Elizabeth Morgan, honored for 50 years of service and leadership in the real estate profession.
Woman of Distinction Award: Judge Lorraine C. Parker, recognized for her distinguished career in education, law, public service and community leadership.
Rising to the Top Award: Kelsey Kistle, real estate professional and community volunteer.; Haley McCracken, director of Children, Family and Outreach Services at Project Self-Sufficiency.
