Calligraphy honors

24 Karat Designs Calligraphy Studio in Newton, owned by Kathy Milici, has been named to the list of “The Best Wedding Services in New Jersey” by New Jersey Life magazine, Spring 2009. Milici, a career calligrapher and instructor, has lived and worked in Sussex County for 30 years. Her studio specializes in hand-lettering for all occasions, but wedding work is a large part of her focus. Milici is a member of the Society of Scribes, The International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting, and has been trained by White House calligraphers. Milici is a member of the Graphic Arts Advisory Committee at Sussex County Community College, and the Design Team for Main Street Newton.
