Cat and dog of the week

Toughie and Carlene are hoping to find homes this week. Toughie ended up at the Room For One More shelter with his three sisters. This little black and white cat followed his feral mom around to search for food and shelter. He has never quite settled in at the shelter because of too much activity. Toughie can be very affectionate — if you are willing to work with him, there are big rewards to be had. He is coming of age to be neutered and has age-appropriate shots. Do you have what it takes to tame the Tough guy? Carlene is a medium Shepherd mix; a sweet and energetic girl. She was adopted out as a baby and unfortunately came back to the shelter due to a pregnancy (not hers) in the family. She would love a home with a furry sibling to play with.
