Chamber installs new board chair

Newton — The Sussex County Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 29th year recently at Perona Farms, in Andover, and installed Thomas E. Madsen of Tom Madsen, LLC, General Contractor in Sussex as its new chairman of the board for 2009. Joining Madsen in service on the chamber’s 2009 Board of Trustees are Deborah Bifulco, Bifulco Business Solutions; Ted Brennan, T.M. Brennan Contractors, Inc.; Tom Caines, ClearVision Coaching; Robert Charlton, Nisivoccia & Company, LLP; Kathie Coleman, Crystal Graphics Achievement Products; Debra Freligh, DMF Media Services, LLC; Michael Gaus, Lucas & Gaus, Attorneys at Law; John Hannum, High Point Regional High School Board of Education; Bob Lombardo, Grinnell Recycling, Inc.; Constance Mierendorf, Sussex County Community College; Michael Schoen, JCP&L, a FirstEnergy Company; Tom Senker, Newton Memorial Hospital; James Siglin, Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative; and Steve Skorski, HQW Architects. Guests at the event included Congressman Scott Garrett who spoke briefly on the nation’s economic future. Sussex County freeholders Philip Crabb, Hal Wirths and Susan Zellman were also in attendance.
