Church Street Closed

The ongoing disruption of Vernon traffic caused by the installation of sewers and water lines for the town center has reached Church Street. The south end of the street was closed to traffic from Route 94 this week. The municipal building and businesses on the road were still accessible from Vernon Crossing Road. Church Street will ultiamtely connect with the town center’s new Main Street direction across Route 94. Township officials said they hope to have the work completed by Nov. 1 (Photo by Mike Celizic)
