County jail passes muster

    Newton — The state’s Department of Corrections conducted an inspection of the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility on Oct. 27 and 28 and reported that for the third consecutive year, the jail has been found to be in full compliance with all requirements of the administrative code. In addition, the Department of Corrections representatives pointed out that the Sussex County Sheriff’s Correctional Bureau staff were “most helpful and cooperative throughout the inspection.”
