    Nov. 11 James Castimore, 45, of Newton, was sentenced to three years probation, 34 days jail, $1,875 in fines and a six month loss of driver’s license. He pled guilty on June 1, 2009 to the third degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and to the disorderly person’s offense of possession of a hypodermic needle. He admitted to possessing a small amount of heroin on Feb. 5, 2009 in Newton. He also admitted to possessing a hypodermic needle on Nov. 20, 2008 in Newton.
