    Dec. 18, 2009 Charles T. Waldron, 32, of Newton was sentenced to three years state prison, $2,380 in fines and a nine month loss of driver’s license. He pled guilty on Oct. 26, 2009 to two counts of third degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to distributing small amounts of heroin in Newton on Feb. 26 and March 9, 2009 to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Guns, Gangs and Narcotics Task Force. Clarence J. Fletcher, 48, of Newton was sentenced to three years probation, substance abuse evaluation and treatment, 10 days SLAP and $1,205 in fines. He pled guilty on Oct. 19, 2009 to the third degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to possessing a bag of heroin in Newton on Feb. 5, 2009. Joanne De Riancho, 25, of Newton was sentenced to three years probation, outpatient substance abuse treatment, 100 hours of community service and $1,250 in fines. She pled guilty on Oct. 26, 2009 to the third degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She admitted that she possessed 13 bags of heroin on Oct. 5, 2007 during the course of a motor vehicle stop by Stanhope Police Officer Robert Popelka. Joseph P. Zappile, 20, of Vernon was sentenced to three years drug court probation, intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment, 15 days credit for time served in jail and $1,205 in fines. He pled guilty on Nov. 30, 2009 to the third degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to possessing 18 bags of heroin on July 22, 2009 in Vernon Township. Dec. 21, 2009 Juliana I. Hoffman, 29, of Newton pled guilty to fourth degree theft. She admitted to taking $1,500 from Jean Pierson at Barrister’s Bar in Newton on Aug. 18, 2009. Taylor L. Budz, 23, of Hamburg pled guilty to the third crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, driving while intoxicated and possessing an expired driver’s license. She admitted to possessing 15 bags of heroin, and driving under the influence of heroin, during a motor vehicle stop in Hardyston on Oct. 14, 2009 by Det. David White. Jaclyn Woudenberg, 18, of Vernon pled guilty to the third crime of theft and to the third degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She admitted that on Sept. 20, 2009 in Vernon, she stole a ring valued at more than $500. The matter was investigated by Vernon Det. Brian Jernick. She also admitted to possessing four bags containing trace amount of heroin on Oct. 16, 2009 in Vernon. That matter was investigated by Officer S. Fitzgerald. Dec. 22, 2009 Randy Scott, 48, of Newton pled guilty to two counts of the third crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted that on Nov. 5, 2008 in Wantage he possessed 15 bags of heroin and that on Nov. 20, 2008 he possessed 65 bags of heroin in Newton. The matter was investigated by the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force and the Newton Police Department.
