    Dec. 9 Brian Dietz, 27, of Milford, Pa., was sentenced to one year probation. He pled guilty on Oct. 3, to threat to kill, a third-degree crime. Dec. 12 Gavin L. Tarsa, 22, of Wantage was sentenced to three years drug court probation, 24 days credit for time served in jail, intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment, $1,205 in fines and a six-month loss of driver’s license. He pled guilty on Oct. 31 to the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to possessing a small amount of cocaine in Wantage on July 11. Dec. 13 Lamel Robertson, 24, and Jamar Wilson, 27, both of Paterson were indicted by a Grand Jury on charges of receiving stolen property, a crime of the third degree. Robertson was additionally indicted for hindering apprehension, a fourth-degree crime. The matter was investigated by Patrolman E. O'Rourke of the Hardyston Township Police Department. The Grand Jury alleges that on Jan. 6, the vehicle the two were driving in was pulled over for speeding. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle had been stolen and the driver, Robertson, gave police a false name. A Grand Jury Indictment charges Diana C. Lozada, 22, of Stanhope, with eluding, a second-degree crime. The matter was investigated by Patrolman R. Tierney of the Byram Township Police Department. The Grand Jury alleges that on May 17, Officer Tierney attempted a motor vehicle stop of the defendant for speeding in Byram Township and Lozada led police on a high speed chase from Byram to Rockaway Township, finally stopping after crashing her vehicle. A Grand Jury indictment charges David F. Vanherwynen, 26, of Wantage, with accomplice liability to commit burglary and accomplice liability to commit theft, both crimes of the third degree. The Grand Jury alleges that on Jan. 21, Vanherwynen and a co-defendant illegally entered a residence in Vernon Township and took cash and property from the home. Dec. 16 Dylan Tallaksen, 19, of Hopatcong, was sentenced to four years probation on condition that he serve 180 days jail with credit for 158 days to run concurrent with 210 days for a violation of previous probation. He must also comply with a TASC evaluation, undergo random drug testing, submit a DNA sample, maintain employment and pay fines of $155. He pled guilty on Aug. 1 to third-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes. He had been having an argument with the victim over an earlier occurrence when he went after the victim with a baseball bat, hitting him in the back. Stephanie M. Villarreal, 25, of Hamburg, was sentenced to three years probation, 128 days time served in jail, $205 in fines and $550 in restitution. She pled guilty on Oct. 31 to the third-degree crime of theft of movable property. She admitted to assisting a codefendant in the theft of an aluminum boat valued at $600 from a Hardyston Township resident. Nicholas C. Morley, 27, of Highland Lakes, was sentenced to five years probation, 270 days jail, short-term inpatient substance abuse treatment, $1,205 in fines and a six-month loss of driver’s license. He pled guilty on Oct. 3 to the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to possessing 56 bags of heroin during the course of a motor vehicle stop by Vernon Township Police Officer Kenneth Kuzicki, Jr. on July 1. Mindy M. Mittelstadt, 22, of Lake Hopatcong, was sentenced to three years probation, three days for credit for time served in jail, intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment, 100 hours of community service, $1,205 in fines and a six-month loss of driver’s license. She pled guilty on Oct. 17 to the third-degree crime of possession of a heroin. She admitted to being in possession of a small amount of heroin when officers responded to a motor vehicle accident. Kevin A. Sickels, 22, of Newton was sentenced to four years state prison, $3,305 in fines and 24-month loss of driver’s license. He pled guilty on Oct. 3 to third-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and fourth-degree possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted that on June 17 and 21 in Andover and Newton he distributed more than one ounce of marijuana to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force. He also admitted to possessing less than an ounce of marijuana with the intent to distribute it and also possessing suboxone on June 27 in his home in Newton. James Conklin, 21, of Sussex, was sentenced to 50 days for credit for time served in jail and $205 in fines. He pled guilty on Oct. 11 to the fourth-degree crime of violation of community supervision for life under Megan’s Law. Christopher Ennis, 31, of Branchville, was sentenced to six years state prison with 27 months of parole ineligibility, $2,205 in fines and 24 month loss of driver’s license. He pled guilty on Oct. 11 to the second-degree crime of employing a juvenile in a drug distribution scheme. He admitted that on April 23 in Sparta he possessed approximately 500 bags of heroin that he intended to deliver to another individual in Montague and that he had his 5-year-old son in the car with him in order to allay the suspicions of the police. Dec. 19 Michael W. Solicito, 28, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., pled guilty to eluding, a crime of the third degree, and to the motor vehicle offense of careless driving. In pleading guilty, Solicito admitted that he failed to stop for a State Trooper who attempted to pull him over for speeding in Sandyston Township on April 20, instead continuing to travel from Sandyston over the Dingmans Bridge and into Pennsylvania. Video surveillance from the Dingmans Bridge confirmed the incident. Brian L. Dippel, 20, of Sparta, pled guilty to defrauding a drug test, a crime of the third degree. In pleading guilty, Dippel admitted that he submitted a urine specimen to the Sussex County Probation Department on Nov. 19 that tested positive for opiates. Upon further questioning the defendant further admitted to using heroin twice the previous week. Jason Coleman, 22, of Newton pled guilty to three counts of third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary. In July and August the defendant conspired to commit residential burglaries with two co-defendants, specifically by driving his co-defendants to and from the victims’ homes. Jonathan J. Delucchi, 24, of Hopatcong, was sentenced to two years probation and six months loss of license. He must also undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation. He pled guilty on Nov. 7 to third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to being in possession of a controlled dangerous substance during a motor vehicle stop at a DWI checkpoint. Warren J. Jemerson, 31, of Montague, pled guilty to the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and to driving while intoxicated. He admitted to possessing a cigarette dipped in PCP during the course of a motor vehicle stop on July 18, 2011 by Hardyston Patrolman Michael Masters. Roel Keith, 26, of Prospect Park, pled guilty to the second-degree crime of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to distributing more than a half-ounce of heroin on Aug. 15 and 23 in the Town of Newton to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force. Robert Jackson, 24, of Paterson, pled guilty to the second-degree crime of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to distributing more than a half-ounce of heroin in Newton on Aug. 30, 2011 to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force. Robert D. Loven, 46, of Newton, pled guilty to the third-degree crime of possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance within 1,000 feet of a school. He admitted to possessing a small amount of cocaine with the intent to sell it while within 1,000 feet of the Halstead Elementary School. The matter was investigated by the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force. Nicholas Delcorpo, 22, of Stanhope, pled guilty to the third-degree crime of possession of a firearm without a permit. He was found to be in possession of a pellet rifle without a permit on May 18, 2010 during the course of a motor vehicle stop by Stanhope Patrolman R. Popelka. Marquis Jackson, 25, of Paterson, pled guilty to the second-degree crime of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of a public park. He admitted selling 250 bags of heroin to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force. The sale took place in the parking lot of the Fredon Civic Center on Aug. 8, which is within 500 feet of Lodestar Park. John J. Leonawicz, 19, of East Stroudsburg, Pa., pled guilty to the third-degree crime of unlawful possession of a firearm. He possessed a pellet rifle without a permit during the course of a motor vehicle stop on Jan. 23, 2011 in Frankford Township by New Jersey State Trooper M. Meehan. Edward P. Shupe, 22, of Netcong, pled guilty to theft, a crime of the third degree. In pleading guilty, Shupe admitted that he and a co-defendant illegally entered a residence in Andover Township on July 31, taking money and property. Cindy A. Hart, 34, of Stanhope, pled guilty to criminal trespass, a crime of the fourth degree. In pleading guilty, Hart admitted her participation in a residential burglary that took place in Andover Township on April 7. Bryan Kalikow, 24, of Island City, N.Y., pled guilty to the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and to a motor vehicle for an improper left hand turn. He admitted to possessing a number of Oxycodone and Xanax tablets without a prescription on May 27, during the course of a motor stop by Byram Patrolman Daniel DeWald. Brian J. Wallace, 41, of Newton, pled guilty to burglary and possession of cocaine, both third-degree crimes, and theft and criminal mischief, both crimes of the fourth degree. In pleading guilty, Wallace admitted that on Sept. 29, he illegally entered a residence in Frankford Township and took money. After confessing to State Police regarding the burglary, he was found to be in possession of cocaine during a search incident to arrest. Aimee Goritski, 25, of Newton, pled guilty to the third-degree crimes of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance while on school property. She admitted selling heroin while on the property of Newton High School on the evening of Aug. 4, to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force. She also admitted to distributing heroin on Aug. 11 in the Town of Newton. Dec. 20 Robert L. Dunn, 37, of Franklin, was sentenced to three years probation on condition that he serve 270 days in jail with credit for 94 days already served. He must also have a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations, submit a DNA sample, undergo random drug testing and pay $155 in court fines. He pled guilty on Oct. 24 to third-degree burglary as an accomplice. He acted as a lookout during a burglary of St. Paul’s Abbey in Andover while his co-defendant broke into the structure taking cast iron radiators. Mark K. Critchlaw, 21, of Branchville, pled guilty to four counts of third-degree burglary. During the months of June and July the defendant and two co-defendants broke into several homes in Frankford and Green townships taking various items from the victims.
