    Nov. 13 Matthew Ackerman, 23, of Wantage, pled guilty to two counts of third-degree distribution of marijuana and one count third degree possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. He is scheduled for sentencing on Jan. 18, 2008. He admitted that on April 16, 2005 and April 23, 2005, he distributed more than one ounce of marijuana in Wantage to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Narcotics Task Force, and that on May 6, 2005, he possessed more than one ounce of marijuana with the intent to distribute it to the same individual. Paul Drake, 20, of Andover, was sentenced to four years drug court probation, 364 days in the county jail, $1,705 in fines and a nine-month loss of driver’s license. He pled guilty on Oct. 15 to the third-degree crime of possession of heroin and driving while suspended. He admitted to possessing 10 bags of heroin following a motor vehicle stop by Sparta Police Officer Brian Hassloch on June 12. Steven Lynch, 26, of Franklin, was sentenced to four years drug court probation, 180 days in the county jail, $1,205 in fines and a six-month loss of driver’s license. He pled guilty on Oct. 29 to the third-degree crime of possession of heroin. He admitted to possessing nine bags of heroin in Franklin on Oct. 4, 2006. The matter was investigated by the Sussex County Narcotics Task Force. Rafael Perez, 23, of Newark, pled guilty to the third degree crime of possession with the intent to distribute heroin and/or cocaine. He is scheduled for sentencing on Jan. 18, 2008. He admitted that on Aug. 13, in Sparta, he possessed 200 bags of heroin and five grams of cocaine with the intent to distribute it to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Narcotics Task Force. Nov. 15 Amanda Skinner, 20, of Hopatcong, was sentenced to four years drug court probation, 188 days in the county jail, 18 month loss of driver’s license, and $3,380 in fines and costs. She pled guilty on Oct. 15 to the third-degree crime of endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, two counts of fourth degree theft and one count of fourth-degree unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. She admitted that on or about Jan. 19, in Hopatcong, she exposed a child under the age of 16 to the use of illegal drugs. She admitted to stealing property belonging to her family with a value of more than $200 on Jan. 13 and July 13 in Hopatcong. She also admitted to possessing heroin and/or cocaine and taking without permission a motor vehicle belonging to a family member on July 18 in Hopatcong. Casey R. Powers, 23, of Lake Hopatcong, pled guilty to unlawful possession of a weapon, a fourth-degree crime. Sentencing is set for Jan. 18, 2008. On Sept. 3, while incarcerated in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility, two pieces of a metal vent were found in the cell he was occupying during a shakedown of that area of the facility. Micky Thompson, 24, of Stanhope, was sentenced to three years state prison with 156 days credit. Fines and costs in the amount of $851. He violated probation by being convicted of new charges, failure to report to his probation officer, testing positive for cocaine, failure to keep probation officer informed of address change, failure to seek/maintain employment, failure to attend NA/AA meetings and failure to pay court imposed financial obligations. The original charge was Aggravated Assault. Three juveniles were sentenced. Two of the juveniles pled guilty on Nov. 15, to third-degree False Public Alarm. The third one also pled guilty to fourth degree Contempt. They were all adjudicated as juvenile delinquents by the court.Two of the juveniles, ages 15 and 17 at the time of the incident, were sentenced to 12 months probation on condition that they serve 7 days in the Juvenile Detention Center (credit for four days, balance suspended) with a six-month loss of driver’s license. They must also complete 50 hours of community service, attend school every day and follow all home and school rules, have no contact with co-defendants, submit to random drugs testing, submit a DNA sample, write a letter of apology to the victim, complete Girls Rule Program, pay restitution (amount to be determined) and pay $45 in fines. The third juvenile was sentenced to 18 months probation with the same conditions as her co-defendants and she must pay fines of $75. The three female juveniles wrote on a wall at High Point High School a warning of an impending bombing knowing that the warning was false. The third juvenile also broke a House Arrest Order that was in place before her plea. George Wildrick, Jr., 32, of Wantage, was sentenced to three years probation and given credit for 91 days previously served in the Sussex County Jail and ordered to pay standard Court fees. He pled guilty to fourth degree resisting arrest. He admitted to preventing a Sheriff’s Officer from arresting him after a motor vehicle stop by driving away at a high rate of speed. Nov. 16 Jennifer Yedid, 37, of Bound Brook, was sentenced to three years probation, which will be transferred to Middlesex County for supervision, was ordered to serve one day in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility and was given credit for one day served. She must pay restitution in the amount of $4,300 joint and several, submit to random urine monitoring, maintain employment, pay total fines and penalties of $155 and submit a DNA sample at her expense. She pled guilty on Sept. 17 to theft by deception, a third degree crime. Yedid had previously been enrolled in the Pre-Trial Intervention Program with respect to the charge but was terminated from the program for non-compliance prior to the entry of her guilty plea. On May 13, 2005 in Byram Township, Yedid and a co-defendant took a check in the amount of $4,300from a homeowner to cover expenses for supplies to have work done at his home. They cashed the check and used most of the money for personal use. James Spratley, 28, of Montclair, pledRoy Teague, 43 of Sussex, was sentenced to serve one year probation. As a condition of probation Teague was sentenced to serve 219 days in the Sussex County Jail. He pled guilty on Sept. 17, to one count of violating his Community Supervision for Life, a fourth degree crime and one count of failure to comply with Megan’s Law by registering his address with police, a third degree crime. Teague, a previously convicted sex offender, was ordered by the court to comply with the terms of Community Supervision for Life and Megan’s Law. On Sept. 17, Teague admitted to the court that on or about April 8, he failed to register his new address with the Newton Police Department. He also admitted that he had failed to obtain approval from his Parole Officer for any change in his address. Keith M. Morris, 21, of Highland Lakes was sentenced to one year probation with 30 days in the Sheriff’s Labor Aassistance Program. He must pay $20 in restitution. Fines and costs are in the amount of $205. Morris pled guilty on Sept. 24 to Burglary, a third degree crime. Aldo Moro, 18, of Highland Lakes, was sentenced to five years state prison with 51 months of parole ineligibility, three years of parole supervision, $330 in fines and $50 restitution. He pled guilty on Sept. 24 to the second degree crime of robbery and the fourth degree crime of possession of a simulated weapon. He admitted that on May 14, in Lafayette Township, he used a starter pistol to rob another individual of drugs and was later found to be in possession of that starter pistol in Vernon Township on the same date. The matter was investigated by Vernon Twp. Police Detective Sean Talt. VicBryan Libo-on, 23 of Hampton, was sentenced to two years probation, 90 days SLAP with seven days credit, must submit a DNA sample and no contact with victim and victim’s family. Defendant must pay $269.50 in restitution. Fines and costs are in the amount of $205. On and between Jan. 1, 2003 and May 31, 2003 in Newton, the defendant fraudulently used a credit card of another to obtain gasoline. Further, on or about Nov. 3, 2004 in Hampton Township the defendant committed child abuse by providing alcohol to a minor female and having inappropriate contact with her. Jerome Kymer, 50, of Frankford, was sentenced to 348 days in the county jail, $955 in fines and a one year loss of driver’s license. He pled guilty on Sept. 24 to the fourth degree crime of possession of more than five doses of a prescription legend drug without a prescription. He admitted to possessing a variety of prescription legend drugs not prescribed to him which were found in his room at the Pines Inn on Dec. 4, 2006 in Frankford Township. The matter was investigated by New Jersey State Police Officer R. Rohel.
