Design a Springfest poster

Augusta — A poster contest for all Sussex County children in kindergarten through sixth-grade is now open. Children can use any crayons, pencils or paints to “celebrate all things that grow” as they create a poster for Springfest Garden Show 2010. Posters will be judged by nationally recognized artist Carol Decker. All posters must be original work, done by an individual child with no assistance. Posters should be 11 by 17 inches and are due by March 2. Mail unfolded posters to Linda Walls c/o Springfest, PO Box 100, Branchville, NJ 07826 or arrangements can be made for posters to be picked up at the child’s school. Call Linda Walls at 973-702-1044. Entries become the property of Springfest and will not be returned. Nationally recognized local artist Carol Decker will be the judge for all entries. Winners will be announced at the Springfest Flower & Garden Show on March 12 at 4:45. Three $50 savings bonds will be awarded to winners in each of three grade level categories.
