Dobbs to speak at High Point event

Augusta — Former CNN commentator Lou Dobbs will be the keynote speaker at the High Point Regional High School Educational Foundation’s fundraising event on Friday, April 2, at 7 p.m. at the Lafayette House in Lafayette. Dobbs, who was the host of the nationally syndicated radio talk show, the Lou Dobbs Show, the Lou Dobbs Financial Report and the Best of Lou Dobbs Show, will speak on the topic of “The State of The Economy.” Dobbs is also the author of “Exporting America”, War on the Middle Class, his current book, “Independents Day: Awakening the American Spirit and co-author of “Space.” The foundation operates independently from the school district to benefit High Point Regional High School students and teachers. Foundation Board members are corporate and community leaders, parent and alumni, who donate their time and talent in to promote the foundation’s mission.
