Ex-deli man turns to printing needs

ANDOVER Cartridge World is now open and the shop’s owner Bill Butler is already extremely busy. Butler selected his location in the new Andover Plaza on Newton-Sparta Road so he could be at an epicenter in the county. “I want to provide optimum access to customers and be close to main roads so I can provide free delivery service on orders over $50.” Cartridge World’s appeal is three-fold, Butler said. We...think green’ providing an environmentally friendly choice for your printing and toner necessities.” Butler is a Sussex County man. He went to Frankford Township Grammar School graduated from High Point Regional High School in 1982. From there, Butler went to Penn State and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel, restaurant and institutional management. His education combined with his people skills and love of Harley Davidson motorcycles led him to an idea for a deli. He created the Daredevil Deli in Sussex in 1990. After two years, he sold that business and opened Hot Rod Deli on Route 517 in Franklin. His car-themed deli was thriving just eight months into the business, but then Butler got into a horrific motorcycle accident. Recovery took over a year, and he had to sell the business from his hospital bed. Butler knew the accident meant he could no longer be on his feet for the amount of time required of the restaurant business, so he went into advertising. In 1999, Butler married Zoe Yanvary, then the owner of the popular Hair Shack in Hardyston. The couple have four children: Zoe, 9, Raina, 8, Fox, 5, and Jenny, 13, and they reside in Hampton. A life-long car enthusiast, Butler left advertising to work for two years doing chip repair for car dealerships while exploring franchise business options. He’d become aware of Cartridge World during his advertising days and saw a great opportunity in Sussex County. On Oct. 8 Butler opened Cartridge World on Newton-Sparta Road, and the business was an immediate success attracting the attention of area businesses, doctors’ offices and individual consumers. With nearly 20 years experience and over 1,600 stores worldwide, Cartridge World is the leader in the refilling and remanufacturing of empty printer cartridges. “We refill all major brands. We re-manufacture laser toner cartridges for most high speed copiers, full color printers or all-in-one laser printers, and we also refill fax and copier cartridges. I want to be your printer cartridge guy.” Bill Butler
