Firefighters who helped soldiers deserve a pat on the back

Recently you ran an article about the Sussex County Volunteer Firemen collecting money from their ranks to purchase phone cards for our troops. I really thought this was a very worthwhile cause and deserved a little more than a small paragraph halfway to the back of the paper, As the saying goes, “You can thank a soldier for the freedom you have.” Whether this freedom is to be able to have your paper or the freedom to sit and read it, we can all thank our soldiers and veterans. I guess you could say this is all about American volunteers helping American volunteers. God bless America and our troops and veterans.
