Fireworks to pop on July 4

Vernon — A fireworks show to celebrate Independence Day will be held from 6:30 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, at Lounsberry Hollow Middle School, located on 30 Sammis Rd. in Vernon. The cost is $15 per family or group of four. The rain date is July 5 or next clear night. The show is being sponsored by Highland Lakes and Vernon fire departments.
