FirstEnergy lends a hand to charities

The FirstEnergy Foundation recently sent local representatives of Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) to deliver a contribution of $5,000 to the United Way of Sussex County. The employee volunteers also painted a few emergency shelter rooms. Two area shelters, Samaritan Inn and DASI, were assisted with some needed paint jobs thanks to their efforts.
