SUSSEX n Four Wantage Township residents are vying for three open seats on the Sussex-Wantage Regional School District’s Board of Education. Lisa Frisbie, John “Craig” Coykendall, Pamela J. Wisse and Theresa “Tammy” Pastore have each submitted applications to run for the three-year school board terms. Incumbent school board members Raymond Delbury, Diane Snure and Ann Smulewicz have decided not to run for re-election to the board, according to the district’s business administrator Christina Riker. School board elections are set for April 21 along with the school district’s budget vote. Meanwhile, the current school board is reviewing applicants to fill the seat vacated by Sussex Borough resident Robert Holowach, who resigned his position on March 19. A majority of five members must decide on a Sussex Borough resident as a replacement within 60 days of Holowach’s official resignation or the matter will be decided by Sussex County Superintendent of Schools Frank Dragotta, said Riker. The district has received two applications for the position and is planning to post an advertisement to encourage other residents to apply, said Riker.
